Fixtures for the Craven Week of 2018 announced

Coca Cola Craven WeekThe unofficial champions of the Coca-Cola Craven Week, the Golden Lions, will start off their campaign at next year edition of the tournament in Paarl against Eastern Province. The Lions was crowned unofficial champions earlier this year by defeating KwaZulu-Natal by 45-18 in the main match at St Stithians College in Johannesburg. 

The match between the Lions and Eastern Province will be the main curtain raiser for the main match of the opening day on Paarl Boys’ High’s main field. Boishaai will celebrate it 150th anniversary next year. 

The hosts of next year’s tournament, Western Province, will meet the Pumas in the main match of the opening day. 

Free State will lock horns with the Blue Bulls in their first match at the tournament. The Free State were ranked the second best team after the tournament in the City of Gold, while the Bulls was ranked eigth for their dismal performance. 

KwaZulu-Natal will face South Western Districts in their first match of the tournament on the second day in Paarl.
