Kroonstad Landbou produced two Springbok rugby players and iron men of South African rugby in Burger Geldenhuys and André Venter. Springbok prop, Faan Rautenbach also played for the first XV in 1993 in his grade ten year the last year of the schools excistance. Rautenbach represented the Northern Free State at the Craven Week in 1993 and also made the South African Schools side in 1994 and 1995 as a pupil of Kroonstad HS.
They contributed two Northern Free State Craven Week captains, Jan Vergottini (1972) and Neil Ungerer (1990) untill the almalgation with Kroonstad High, Johan Slabbert and De Wet Nel THS at the end of 1993.
