The eighth tournament of the @lantic 7's series moves to HS Jim Fouche in Bloemfontein on Friday, 12 October.  The player of the tournament will be invited to attend a training camp with the national 7's team at the end of the year and will also be part of a youth team to tour Dubai at the end of November.  Friday's first match starts at 14:00 with the play-offs taking place on Saturday from 08:00.

The teams playing in the tournament are divided into four pools.

Pool A: Jim Fouche, Voortrekker, Harrismith and Dr. Blok.
Pool B: Linden, Louis Botha, Paul Erasmus and Batho.
Pool C: Harmony Sportacademy, Sentraal, Heatherdale and Rocklands. 
Pool D: Bloemfontein High, Jim Fouche B, Ficksburg and Petunia.

An exciting new competition for schools rugby was launched in Pretoria today when internet service provider @lantic announced a national sevens rugby series for schools to be held from August 4th to October 27th, 2007. The series will consist of 10 tournaments around the country and has already received the blessing of the South African School's Information meeting and national sevens coach, Paul Treu.
